WWDC and Core Plot

Last month I highlighted a scientific coding project due to take place at the WWDC. MacResearch now has more details.

The four day coding event will take place at the WWDC but it is organised such that people unable to attend WWDC will also be able to contribute

Core Plot is intended to be a plotting framework for Mac OS X and iPhone OS. The aim is to provide 2D visualization of data, and is tightly integrated with Apple technologies like Core Animation, Core Data, and Cocoa Bindings.
Full details are available on the
wiki.
Whilst the project was initiated by a scientific need it is apparent that the results could be very useful in any situation where plotting data is required. If you can contribute I’d urge you to get involved.
