Latest Data from Net Applications

It is always fun to poke around the latest monthly market share data from Net Applications. In terms of operating systems whilst the MacOS has remained pretty stable at just above 5% for the last 12 months, the iOS market share has seen a 3-fold increase (0.4% to 1.2%) most of that seems to be at the expense of Windows which is down from 92.5% to 91.08%. Other mobile operating systems have also seen an increase with Java ME (0.95%), Symbian (0.3%) and Android (0.24%) all posting gains with Windows Mobile languishing on 0.04%.

For the first time in years Internet Explorer (59.65%) is now below 60% market share, the gaining share are Chrome (7.98%) and Safari (5.27%).
