Mac market Share

Net Applications have just published the March 2010 market share data. One of the nice things is you can look at previous years data to get an idea of the trend. Over the last two years there has been a gradual decline in the percentage of Windows users, part of this decline can be accounted for by the increased number of Mac users which now stands at the highest levels since Net Applications began reporting. However the biggest increase is for the mobile operating systems which have risen from effectively 0% two years ago to 1.7% today. With the introduction of the iPad in a few days we can expect the trend towards mobile computing to continue.
