The August data from Net Applications is in, as expect the PPC continues to decline and is replaced by MacIntel, total share is just under 8%. The iPhone share is on the rise again after hovering around 0.18% for several months it is now up to 0.3% which is now some 6-fold higher than WinCE (0.05%). Interestingly Linux also shows an increase and is set to break 1% in the next few months, all of which means that Windows may drop below 90% share for the first time.
